if I remember
I'll send you the recipe when I get home. No doubt I shall end up bringing some to a bash at some point as well though.

I could remind you about the recipe I suppose?
When are you going home?
(, Sat 5 Feb 2011, 23:36, Reply)
Tomorrow
gotta be back for babysitting. *heaves sigh*

But looking after small people means money.
And you've got your trip north of the border to plan.

Positive berk. Positive.
(, Sat 5 Feb 2011, 23:41, Reply)
yeah I know
it just means leaving here earlier than I'd like and it's a bastard long drive with whingy kids at the end of it. Travel plans are all sorted, I can get the first train of the day, it should get me there in time but it's fine if I'm a little late- I checked.
(, Sat 5 Feb 2011, 23:46, Reply)
That's good.
What time have you got the kids from and until tomorrow?
(, Sat 5 Feb 2011, 23:47, Reply)
from when I get back about 4ish
until bedtime, around 8ish. Need to do some prep tomorrow night too, I can feel the fear a-creeping..
(, Sat 5 Feb 2011, 23:50, Reply)
Timetable berk.
Make. A. Timetable.

And maybe take a night or two off from child care. I mean, when you get the placement, they'll need to find someone else anyway, so you're doing them a favour.

I won't be working tuesday night, which I would normally
and really I know what I need to do, practice my talk and some obvious interview questions, for instance like the ones I fluffed last time..
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:00, Reply)
Are the interview questions more subject specific than the average interview?

(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:01, Reply)
well they'll ask me some fairly in depth sciencey stuff
but it's more that I really have to know my stuff or else I'll look bloody silly. Again. The generic interview stuff I can do easy.
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:11, Reply)
Tip.
Star Trek is SCIENCE FICTION.

*Taps nose, wisely*

If you need any other tips, let me know.

What are you doing tomorrow before you go home?
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:13, Reply)
Just hanging about here I guess
weather is shockingly bad so I doubt we'll go out. Plus I'll have to leave around midday so there's not a great deal to do on a sunday morning, especially not a sunday morning on anglesey in the arse end of beyond.
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:19, Reply)
But you'll get to spend some more time with your sister.
So that'll be good, yes?

The weather down here is shit too.
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:23, Reply)
well yes, any time I get to spend with them both is good
the weather was crap in brum too, but you've no idea exactly how shit 'shit' weather is until you've experienced it in north wales..
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:28, Reply)
I've spent many a week in Bangor.
Trust me. I know.

Has your sister got a bath and central heating? If she has, you could treat yourself to both if you are devoid of such facilities in Brum.
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:32, Reply)
I have revelled in the central heating
she apologised for it being cold in the spare room, and I was like, 'what? it's tropical in here, I can sleep without my hoodie on!'
(, Sun 6 Feb 2011, 0:37, Reply)
Well go mad and have a nice bath tomorrow!
It'll be like you've found the future.

In Wales.
