As mentioned below, I saw ostriches. Also rock dassies, who are adorable and I think related to elephants, chavvy two-tone birds, and I'll recount my elephant story at some point.

Oh, and the standard rhino giraffe sort of thing.

Yes, they are.
I remember discussing them with the mighty badger a while ago.

The elephant story will probably require my amazing story telling abilities, it has actions and everything.
