Whilst I know numerous people who went to private schools and turned out as perfectly nice peopleI also know several who went to private schools and turned into insufferable cunts. And it's a very different kind of insufferable cunt from that which comes out of a state school. Personally I object to the idea of being able to "buy privelige" for your kids.
