I just put a request in for some tickets to see Dave Gorman and a bunch of stand-ups on Saturday
for free! Might not get it, but it's good to have the option.

I went to a filming of one of those 'Dave one-night stands' a while back.
Christ knows who was on the bill, but they didn't entertain.

I'm sure they've got enough canned laughter on tape to make it sound like everyone was enjoying themselves though.

this has doors open 6:15 - when did yours go on until? I'm getting tickets for me and some mates, they're talking about eating after but now I'm thinking if it goes on late we should grab something beforehand.

We were able to get (upto) 4 tickets for whatever the event was called
It was over subscribed and the queue was massive, so we worked on the basis that we'd eat there.

Big mistake as inside the theatre there was no food or drink available. I think doors were 6.15 for this too, and we queued from about that time before getting in at about 7pm, we were amongst the last to get in and 100s were turned away.

We left early.

but if it helps you at all, a mate of mine went to the filming of something similar (Danny Wallace maybe?) and had a great time. He said it took longer than he expected though.
