I had this discussion with the missus the other day as well.She identifies herself as a Latina, and legally she can claim to be as her mother is Mexican. But she herself was raised in South Carolina, and her parents both grew up in San Diego, so she's as Mexican as I am Irish. Culturally we're from SC and NY respectively, but we still acknowledge where our ancestors came from.

Modern world is complicatedPeople move about too much. Nationalities, meh. Kind of cool to think about all the traditions that go all around the world.
