If there's a tube closure or something, I think I generally use it for finding a nearby pub if I'm somewhere I've not been before.

Ah OK.I get free text alerts from TFL if there's any disruption to my daily commute, and I am still impressed by being able to print off a map showing precisely my destination. When I were a lad this were all fields etc.
