Sorry to hear that mate
You want to get one of those back transplants
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:15, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
it was almost fine yesterday
I blame being on secondment for making me have to sleep in a rubbish bed.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:16, Reply)
And for giving you stress, presumably
When does it end?
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:18, Reply)
down to two days a week after this week
until the end of June.

It's not particularly stressful, but it has made my other work stressful because I have to fit loads into 2 days back in my office. Or more realistically 2 days at my office, both evenings I am up here and at the weekends.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:22, Reply)
End of June? That's fucking bent
Let's talk about something in-no-way-stressful. How's the wedding planning going?
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:25, Reply)
wedding planning isn't in the least bit stressful
it's almost all done.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:25, Reply)
smug reply is smug ;)

(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:28, Reply)
not really
no idea how people get so stressed by the whole thing.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:34, Reply)
Mother in laws - when you want to invite friends, but you have to invite certain family etc
aside from that it was pretty easy!
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:36, Reply)
we've had none of that
and if someone had suggested as much they would have been told where to go.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:36, Reply)
Was hard for us as the in laws were paying, and were extremely generous

(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:40, Reply)
that would make things difficult
although not having to pay would have been quite nice considering how hard we've had to save.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:44, Reply)
I can't help but notice an absence of an invitation on my doormat
Thereby leading me to conclude that you've done absolutely fuck all. Because the alternative is unthinkable, and enormously likely.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:32, Reply)
my next tasks are to get my suit tailored
get hold of our photographer mate and design the invitations.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:34, Reply)
So there's still HOPE
In all seriousness, I'm very glad you've got everything sorted mate. When is the big day?
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:37, Reply)
10th of September

(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:37, Reply)
I suppose that means you're indisposed for our Half-Marathon commemoration of the 9/11 attacks then

(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:41, Reply)
unfortunately so
I shall be banging my new wife. or surfing.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:44, Reply)
I should fucking well hope you'll have a hangover
What are the honeymoon plans?
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:45, Reply)
considering we are having to save to pay for the wedding and do up the house
and are planning to buy a van, grand honeymoon plans have been put off. We are spending a week in St Ives immediately after the wedding.
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:46, Reply)
Can't go far wrong there
St Ives is fucking lovely. Best of luck with the rest of the plans mate
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:49, Reply)
yeah, we love it down there
can just chill out, surf, eat good food.

thanks
(, Tue 29 Mar 2011, 9:50, Reply)
What with all his friends and family being there he couldn't put up with the shame of you mincing around
