Can I talk about that? It's all gone a bit wrong for India, suddenly. Can't afford to lose Yuvrah that cheaply.
*awaits abuse*

I'm very surprised that your response isn't "as if I give a shit"

if we hadn't granted them independence, we could have had Tendulkar. Just saying.

Anyway, England would never select a player who wasn't born on this sceptred isle

psst. He's being ironic. Pietersen, Trott, Prior, Strauss, Bopara, Morgan, Kieswetter, Hick, Hussain... I'll stop now.

Prior
Kieswetter
Lumb
Strauss
Dernbach
Morgan
and those are just the ones I can think of right now. Never mind the likes of Martin McCague, Allan Lamb, Robin Smith...

Am only able to nip on here for 30 seconds at a time currently, so I didn't pick up on the sarcasm.

Perfectly understandable. I'm dripping with bitter sarcasm about English cricket at the moment (unless any Aussies want to discuss the matter, in which case HA HA HA) but if you're in and out you won't have noticed that!

But, no, I concur, it would not have helped us take a wicket. Although scoring an acceptable total might at least have given us a chance. We were 120 below par for batting first against SL in SL.

And you're quite right, SL sould have topped 300 without breaking a sweat and we should have anticipated that. A fit KP and Broady and an in-form Jimmy would have been nice but really the problem is that the players have been on the road for way too long
