he was drinking neat Glenfiddich for my vodka and lemonade. But I matched him drink for drink and felt more or less alright this morning, so that counts, right?

neither of us drink anything like as much as you do. That said, I was drunk enough last night to drunkenly/flirtatiously nick half a pack of Marlborough lights off someone though, and my throat is regretting it this morning.

He does get free (or possibly just 'cheap') tickets to Wimbledon, yes.
