The thing is
I know my case is within their size restriction. It's a standard hand-luggage sized case.

It's just taht when you get to the gate you are basically attheir mercy, and if they suddenly decide it's over the limit, that's forty quid right there and then. I'm not sure I would be able to pay that without at the very least punching on of them in their incredibly orange tits.

Like I said, easyjet specifically say "no weight limits if you are able to lift it yourself" or something along those lines.
