Not all of them by a long chalk.The problem is that now folk are either 'underground' which means more earnest, thoughtful and intelligent lyrics but not terribly catchy and rubbish to dance to, OR a dancey beat and monosyllabic gibberish over the top.
The last 'big' record that was a combination of the two that I know of, was 'Oo-wee' by Mark Ronson, bizarrely.

I'm still undecided on Ronsonbut the man has connections. Getting Ghostface Killah to rap over that tune was genius
