"buried at sea" that's not been confirmed. I wonder if they just found him dead of a heart attack or a stroke or something, and wanted to make it a military operation instead?
Although no harm in shooting up a corpse, really. And it might be better PR to have him "struck down by Allah" than murdered by yankee pig-dogs. So it is a bit baffling.
