I have had to award myself a dairy milk consolation prize
because I could buy a bar of that for a quid, but the shoes were £30 and £65 respectively...

It does amuse me, however, that I was in Kurt Geiger thinking 'what would Amberl do?' - I came to the conclusion that you'd probably have bought them anyway and just not bothered buying groceries.
