but I'm afraid the performing arts and, particularly interpretative dance, are some of my favourite ever things. I just can't take the risk that, by supporting you, I stop some 18 year old from believing, truly believing, that they are capable of making it on the stage only to realise later, after failure after crushing failure, that the sum total of their life's experience will be bitterness and disappointment.
