You make a good point about CasablancaIt received rapturous critical praise but didn't make anywhere near as much money as a Bogart picture was expected to. Only over time has it garnered classic status.
Still not convinced that anything with Paul Walker in it will ever be considered one for the ages though.

ExactlyI've seen a lot of shit black and white films, as well as brilliant classics. It's not a dividing line of quality.
But Rosamund Pike would've been wasted in black and white
