People who say that are fucking twatsIt's clearly implicit in what you said that you were requesting permission, not asking them if you were capable of doing it. I onlce asked at a ticket office if I could have a one day travel card and she said "You can buy one, you can't have it for nothing!" in a LOLwaki joking manner. I wished she had died.
