Got on a quieter, later train coming home from work today.
And I treated myself to an empty 4 seater table. Put my stuff down, opened the window and relaxed.

Not 2 minutes later, this old woman came by, swayed, and sat at the empty 4 seater table across from me, kicked off her shoes with a foetid sigh and put her heavily bunioned and calloused BARE feet up on the seat opposite.

I immediately picked up my stuff, got up and walked into the other carriage. She looked a bit shocked and muttered something to me, but I was too enraged to hang about to listen.

Commuting is seriously bad for your health.
