and one that just won't work for us as our instruments are all acoustic rather than electronic (I include my electric guitar in that because the amp is a massive part of the character of the sound)
trouble is, the organisers are friends of friends and the whole shindig is for charity...

with me on drums, drummer on keyboards, and bassist using an electric bass.
I can't imagine our singer would do very well without having the sound of a band going on around him, even if he did have the sound coming through headphones.
It'd be weird and frankly wrong.

what I mean is that they "played" their song using the apps on their phone, guitar, bass, drums, not just played the song from an mp3 player and the singer sang
