I was too young to see them live during the Britpop era
they were one of the few bands I always massively resented that I'd never get to see, because I never thought they'd reform. But I WILL, and I'm so fucking excited.

When they replaced the Stone Roses at Glastonbury in 95
that was fucking incredible. Pretty much only he would have the balls, fronting an only slightly known (by the mainstream, anyway) band, to saunter on stage, take the piss out of the band they were replacing (and, let's not forget, who half the crowd had come specifically to see re-formed) and then just play the god of all live sets.

there aren't many things from my past I wish I could go back and see again and again
