I believe one or both of you has the wrong end of the sticktreatment for motor neurone and hyperthyroidism would not be the same.

I can only go one what I've been told.And that my 'branch' of thyroidism is a motor neurone jobby.

I didn't think there was any relation between the two things, to be honestmotor neurone is nerves and hyperthyroidism is hormonal...the two things don't really interact.
