Our experiences differ.The people I know who've done drugs have chosen to do them for pleasure, and the two I've ever tried (weed & speed) I did out of curiosity, one I liked, one I didn't and never did again.
Tobacco is the only thing I started on by accident, I got hooked from smoking it in joints and it took a very long time to get clear of the addiction, if indeed I have.
Oh, and if we're including legal drugs, alcohol was choice and non addictive, I'd less soon give up chocolate or cheese.
