I think the trouble with the NHS, is that while there is a public purse, there is going to be exploitation.The people in charge of the purse-strings are on their 30-40kpa jobs, but they're dealing in deals worth millions, so naturally companies bidding for these contracts will woe the person in charge, treat them to expensive meals and all that.
And there is so much wasteage that wouldn't happen in a private company.
