No, I think as well as talking about all the awkward shit I couldn't dredge up in front of anyone I knew, I picked up on a lot of her technique, just by noticing how she dealt with someone who was visibly fed up with life, perhaps because it was refreshingly different from how some other people responded to it. In any case, it's proven surprisingly useful.
