I lived there for 4 years
had a welsh girlfriend who spoke it fluently and lived with 2 other welsh speakers, and all I learned to say was "I love tortoises"

I could say "you'll never take me alive coppers!" when i was drunk, but I've lost that ability

I've learnt the welsh on road signs and nothing else
