I don't travel much for work these days, but overseas travel has been a regular part of other jobs I've done. Sadly, it is nowhere near as much fun as it sounds.

I was most annoyed when one company I worked for decided that Dublin should be a day-trip and not an overnight stop, as there was good boozin' to be done, especially if you stayed Thursday night and working on the Friday, as - at your own expense - you could have a weekend on the sauce in Ireland.
