There's a very easy system to deal with MP selection
anyone that actually wants to be a politician shouldn't be allowed to be one.

Also, anyone that did PPE at Oxford shouldn't be allowed cutlery unsupervised, let alone any say in the running of a country.

I think people should pass a personality and hability test
before trying to be an MP. In that case, no matter how stupid the voters are, only good MPs could be elected.
