The worst CV I've ever seen fell into our email filter.It was from some guy who was billing himself as a graphic designer. He'd used a fancy template and put a load of graphics on it, including fake coffee cup rings etc. It just made him look like a cunt.
It fell into our filter because his spelling was awful. No amount of flash is going to make up for poor English on a CV.

Oh, man, thisI've been sifting through application forms for 3 jobs I'm recruiting for. These are academic roles requiring PhDs; do you seriously think I'm going to consider you if you can't fill in the form correctly, can't spell and ignore questions you don't like?
