A home made potato salad alongside your meat will go down a treat
Boil new potatoes, then drain.
Put a bit of butter and pepper in the pan, and giving them a shake.
Cut then all in half (or quarters if they're big), put them into a large bowl.
One spoon of mayo, and a handful of chives, mix it all up, then serve.

^^ I was shocked at quite how popular this was

Even when I know it's really tasty
I still have a problem to call that "salad"

I do a similar thing, but add thinly chopped tomatoes, lettuce, carrot and olives.

Aye, I know what you mean, it ain't a salad
But it's miles better than supermarket bought 'potato salad'

That is true
supermarket potato salad always makes me sick. I wonder what they put on it.

Am I the only person who just uses onion
or red onion instead of chives?
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 17:15, Reply)
I'd quite happily use onion
But so many people don't like it raw, it didn't seem worth it.

That's a rubbish poem
