I'm reading some old E.F. Benson novelsthey're pretty good. There's one that's crying out for a sequel but sadly it was written in 1922

Not an author I know.I thoroughly enjoyed rereading John Buchan's Hannay books recently - by jove he was a lolracist.

He did the Mapp and Lucia seriesbrilliantly light and quite funny books, as well as several autobiographical ones that proved how completely and utterly repressed he was.
He really was a lolracist. Surprised they're still in print.
