Did you not go to 'stock?
I got shitfaced on Friday night after finishing work at The Pit of Hades forever and ever, went to Cotswold Wildlife Park on Saturday and squeegasmed over the baby meerkats, got adopted by my mate's family and fed full of sausage and mash on Saturday evening and roast pork and fresh garden veg on Sunday. I taught kids how to make paper aeroplanes and flapping birds, throwing-and-catching practice, juggling, chatting bollocks etc. Got home today, spoke to the missus, slept for four hours and now I'm watching newish Futurama. Fucking excellent weekend. Now I've got nine days off *smug beams*

No, I really wanted to and was unable to cancel my train ticket as well, so double fail.
Your weekend sounds like great fun :)

It was splendid.
One of my oldest friend's mum treats me like a second son, it's amazing! Is Kendo the only other thing you've done? I did judo as a lad, it was fun and taught me how to fall over, which I've excelled at quite often over the years.

I did kickboxing for about 8 years, but the downside to that it that once you get to blackbelt you can't really go any further with it unless you want to teach.
It's a long time since I did it though, so I want to get into something else that requires physical exertion and skill without getting injured quite so much.

Climbing?

Tried that, but I fall off too much on walls and there's not really that many natural surfaces in London to use.
