I suspect you'd get fairly short shrift suggesting that one of the ingredients of thai green curry was anchovies.
If I'd have meant it had nothing tomato-based in it I'd have said "no tomato" not "no tomatoes".
Which, I grant you, is a very subtle difference, and easily missed, but I'm having a cunt of a week so I'm going to be pointlessly belligerent about it.

But as you say, it's a fine distinction.
This is why I love B3ta. Where else could I be discussing what constitutes something having tomatoes in it at 9.38 on a Thursday morning?

Peanut allergy sufferers can fuck off though. Making me eat pretzels instead of nuts on planes just because their mothers didn't eat any peanuts during pregnency because they are scared of everything The Daily Mail tells them to be scared of.
