I hated schoolso at a guess, I'd say almost everything that happened there between 1992 to 2001, pretty much. It's no fun being the impoverished fat scholarship kid in a school full of rich wankers.
Manchester is a good night out, I've always found.
EDIT - and there's an awesome cocktail bar in town which runs burlesque classes in their victorian gin parlour. Trufax.

Owned by the same people, I believeas is the Island Bar, where I have yet to go but which also looks quite nice.
