I'd just come out of school
All my mum could say was that some crazy people had flown planes into the twin towers and that one of them had "fallen over" (it didn't , they caved in).
I only took it all in emotionally and started crying after I'd seen the pictures on TV.
I never cried over it afterwards but I must have been emotionally affected, because for about 2 months afterwards I drew two or three picture of the towers per day, sometimes even after they'd been hit .
Also, I'd like to know if the point when people realized it was a terrorist assault and not an accident was as the 2nd plane hit?
