I had this.turned out to be a loose connection. I took it a part, pushed the ribbon cable in firmly and reassembled, it's worked fine for the last two years.
However you're probably not happy taking a screw driver to your lappy, so this leaves you screwed. I'd have a crack at it, but your not local, sorry.
