They were discussing this on The Today program this morningThe guests were trying to make the point tht there are 25 million unused bedrooms in britain. Many older people would like to move to somewhere more manageable, but are afraid of the effort/cost etc and it should therefore be made easier for them.
this was twisted into "OLD PEOPLE THROWN OUT ONTO THE STREETS"
