Trying to save money berk.If I were to go up the night before and spend the cost of a cheap hotel, the Daily Mail would point out that this is a waste of tax-payers money.

Yes we could.But they like the 'face to face' approach.
Stand on me. I'd quite enjoy 3 days in Edinburgh, but the project won't stretch to it on that occasion. I expect to be back there in another week or two as well.

It would be. I agree.But I'm taking a couple of people with me and that would add about £500 to the budget. Which banks can't afford.
