The only time I've had own brand gin
it tasted like turps. Naturally I still drank it

I was pleasantly shocked by it being OK

I'll bear this in mind
I want to try making flavoured gin in the same vein as flavoured vodka
(, Mon 31 Oct 2011, 15:35, Reply)
This would be a good choice then
The flavour was quite mild. What would you do?
(, Mon 31 Oct 2011, 15:36, Reply)
Probably the same flavours as I did with vodka
lemon, mint and ginger (in separate bottles naturally)

GINger!
Good idea! Lemon would be nice too. I always add loads of lemon juice in a G&T

Since you're flavouring it any way
cheap gin is probably best. I imagine it'll make an excellent mixer with other alcohol
