I can admit that they have done a few alright songs
aside from them being dicks (the members being twats doesn't stop me liking a band, I like Metallica) it's mainly their recent stuff that makes me loathe them. Vertigo and Elevation are two of the worst songs ever written.

But Lemon, Stay, One, Zoo Station are all ace.

And they are tremendous dicks.

He did one good album.
Def Jux were very much the pack leader at that point- backpack hip hop had given way to crews like Cannibal Ox and The Perceptionists. Kind of like an American Mo Wax but with vocal acts rather than concentrating on instrumentals.
