I used to be massively into Industrial from about 15-16.
Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Prick, Stabbing Westward, early Marilyn Manson, Lard, Skinny Puppy, that sort of thing. I got Marilyn Manson's Portrait of an American Family when it came out. I was subsequently disgusted when he cleaned up his act and went commercial.

And I would vote for the SNP as I support their social agenda. Not sure about independence though, but Alex Salmond is taking prudent steps that are necessary, like renegotiating the Crown Estate so that North Sea oilfields aren't automatically the property of the monarch, but belong to the country.

I think the biggest factor in their favour is that they are not Labour, Tory or Lib Dem.
All the three main parties are historically unpopular. The SNP were pretty much a protest vote.

Unelected by everyone outside his constituency, as was Tony Blair, David Cameron, Thatcher...do people not know that you vote for your local MP? Do they turn up at the polling stations, see that the party leaders aren't listed and say to the returning officer "excuse me, I, I think there must be some mistake with the mechanism of democracy on offer here, I wanted to vote for David Cameron, but his name isn't on the ballot paper?".

Do they fuck, the thick shits. If you haven't learned to drive a car you shouldn't get behind the wheel. If you don't understand the concept of party based representative democracy then you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

And I do not believe at all in referendums.

I can admit that they have done a few alright songs
aside from them being dicks (the members being twats doesn't stop me liking a band, I like Metallica) it's mainly their recent stuff that makes me loathe them. Vertigo and Elevation are two of the worst songs ever written.

Def Jux were very much the pack leader at that point- backpack hip hop had given way to crews like Cannibal Ox and The Perceptionists. Kind of like an American Mo Wax but with vocal acts rather than concentrating on instrumentals.
