I'm far too bitter and jaded to look forward to Christmas
Plus, as I am no longer a child, Christmas isn't all about me getting loads of presents that I really want anymore. Nowadays I ungratefully receive a pitiful amount of stuff that I don't really want (apart from the odd thing from my wishlist).
I struggle even to get excited for my son, as my wife always goes way over the top with all the presents and I can't help feeling disgusted by it.
Wot a miserable cunt, eh?

Alt: Don't care what occasion you link it to, but I agree with the suggestion that there needs to be one between August and December.

I like Christmas I think because I've got past the "it's for kids" business
and it's started reminding me of my own childhood. A lot of the decorations and stuff I buy are reminiscent of the ones my grandparents had, for example.

It's a time for work to stop*
and for daytime drinking to begin.

*Unless you work somewhere that sells alcohol. We need you to work more, I'm afraid.
