At least, I can't think of anyone who rivals the aforementioned frightful cunts in terms of favouring a phenomenally bent image at the expense of trying to write anything remotely listenable...Even Chubby Checker, in his defence, didn't really push his image further than just being a fat, grinning spastic, and just wrote shit songs instead.
