Very noisyI'd be looking at rescues if I was you.
Maybe a Minah, or a Cockatiel.
They'll do a bit of pecking order at first but they'll get on.
I have two Minahs.

Just as I was reading that he's launched into a mad squawking fitMinahs are fantastic, I remember a friend of the family had one that spoke so convincingly you'd swear it was its owner's voice if you were wearing a blindfold.
A rescue bird would be ideal. Not sure how well conures get on with other species but most parrots seem friendly enough together. I shall research this
