Bejazzus this is a very late time of night
But I'm trying to adjust my body-clock a little to do a Time and Motion assessment of a nightshift tomorrow and Tuesday.

Don't reply until the morning unless you're an insomiac.

Evening
worth trying the reaction test online to see if you're slower and less alert at this time
(, Mon 12 Dec 2011, 1:03, Reply)
I am slow and not alert.
Been trying to see who is awake on other forums I visit.

My reaction time is about the same
but tried and tested insomniac here. What are you up to?
(, Mon 12 Dec 2011, 1:09, Reply)
Trying not to fall asleep
I first got onto b3ta when I worked permanent nightshifts, because seven years ago QOTW kept me sane.

Getting back into that is hard - I reckon I'll stay alive for another 30 mins then crash.

Good luck with that

Now I must collapse into my lonely bed.
I've got to stay awake all tomorrow night, then drive 45 miles home.

Night. x

alright The Disappointed
Is this a 10-6 or a 7-7 nightshift?
(, Mon 12 Dec 2011, 1:35, Reply)
10-6
In Heywood. So I'm driving home at 6 on Tuesday.

From the location, I'm guessing it's in a warehouse.
Wrap up well, unless it's a very new building it'll be fucking freezing!
(, Mon 12 Dec 2011, 1:42, Reply)
You'd be right
It's not fit for purpose, I've been paid good money to make it better and I can't.

And it's not a warehouse for the oversized people, if that was your thought.

Christ alive Jeffstock was good.
My innards did not thank me for going out to dinner at 11pm though.

There's been a 'disturbance' in my 'force'* ever since. I had an extra-hot burrito for lunch yesterday (in a charming American bar just by my home, fact fans) and it pretty much ruined my day.

Also, when I came back from seeing my daughter (we painted Xmas decorations, seasonal fact fans) I discovered that *someone* has put up a load of the worst Xmas decorations possible, including a pitiful-looking plastic tree that looks like it barely survived Auschwitz. Our sitting-room looks like a bomb's gone off in a pound shop.

I looked 'aghast', apparently. This was the desired effect, and 'LOLs' were had at my expense.

Good morning.
I'm glad you enjoyed JeffStock. We'll have to do it again
