Did any of you go shopping yesterday?
I'm considering going to the shops, but I'm concerned it'll be just as busy as it was before Christmas and I don't know if I can be arsed with rooting through piles of discounted clothes in my quest for a bargain.

It's only a bargain if you'd buy it full price.

That's a very good point.

(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 10:43, Reply)
I think I might shop online.

(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 10:46, Reply)
Not really.
I just bought something for 75 quid (50% off), I wouldn't ever have paid full price cos I was specifically waiting for it to hit the sales.

What did you buy today?

(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 10:59, Reply)
Gant Rugger gilet thing.
Wanted it for ages but now I think it's a bit Joey Essex and it'll probably get sent back.

That would be a 'body-warmer' for us over 35s, yes?

Aye sir.

Ha, that's proof of what I said.

absolute fucken nightmare yestrday, i'd suggest leaving it til the kids are back at school

Everything will be gone by then though.
I wanted to check out Liberty and a few things in Spitalfields but by all accounts they've all been rinsed. I'm not fussed at all, but you've got to go now or not bother at all.

I'm having a gander online Baz.
The problem I've got is that in some things I'm a large, in others extra-large.
(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 11:01, Reply)
I'm between small and medium.
It's a nightmare, if I can afford it I buy both and send one back but it's such hassle. Measurements on most websites are wrong as well. Get the large if you ain't sure though, rather something a slim fit than baggy init.
(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 11:05, Reply)
It's not even 'slim into it' issue.
I'm a little over six feet tall, so it really depends on the cut.
