Boston wasn't too bad... to summarise
* My wife and sister-in-law both got a stomach bug on Christmas Day.
* The people we had Christmas lunch with cannot cook (and they got a 27lb turkey to feed 9 meat eaters [excluding the staff]).
* I found decent bar and some excellent local beers.
* My wife and I had a massive argument. Once this was resolved we agreed that she would stay a few more days to hang out with her sister and relax. This means I am spending NYE on my own.
* I got some lovely gifts.
* I ate some excellent meals (apart from Christmas lunch).

So I would score it 5.5/10.

It was okay.
I really don't like Christmas. I'm yet to resolve my 'what to do on NYE' plan myself.

Yep I landed yesterday at 4.40am. It was a challenge to stay awake until the evening.
However following 6 pints, a curry and a wank I slept for 12 hours. I feel superb today.
