Wow, seriously!!!Used birds eye chillis to make chilli powder, but didn't grind it up properly fine so the heat just keeps on coming!!!
Apart from that I'd say not quite enough asafoetida in the marinade and the whole thing probably not cooked for long enough. Maybe 2 1/2 hrs @ 140c would have done it?
Anyway, well tasty and there's LOADS left for making a pie on Tuesday!
Might even make my own pastry this time, normally use Jus'Roll.
