Only about six weeks actually
but if I want to continue seeing TB I have to stay in Leamington - I'd never see him if I moved to Oxford, he just doesn't have the time as he works 7 days a week.

Is Oxford more expensive than Leamington?

(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:29, Reply)
Hugely, yes
Minimum for a decent one bed flat is £700-800, bills on top of that... but if I moved, I'd hopefully be sharing with either just one or two other people, or someone I know, or I'll get lucky and find a decent studio with bills inclusive.

How many are you living with at the moment?

(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:31, Reply)
5 others
I have my own shower, so that's not a problem, it's the kitchen that bothers me. I'm sick of tidying up after other people.

I can see how that might be an issue.
Are they quite a sociable lot?
(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:36, Reply)
No, nobody talks to anybody else bar in passing
there's no shared area.
(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:38, Reply)
Well a move might be the right thing to do then.

I have a great deal here though
I'd have to be moving for the right reasons and for the right place, as it'd likely mean the demise of my relationship...

I meant in Leamington.
Or is a one-bed-place in Leamington too big an ask as well?
(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:46, Reply)
No, there's no way I can afford a flat and bills in Leamington
on top of the cost of my season ticket. Absolutely no way. I'm skint as fuck as it is.

In which case, staying where you are makes the most sense.
Even if the kitchen needs a bit of organisation.
(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:49, Reply)
I like my little studio flatlet thing
as long as I'm in Leamington, I'll live here and just suck it up re: the bad bits.

Well once the dog owner has gone
That'll make things better.

Ooh, just remembered. I need to book some rail tickets.

For what?

(, Thu 12 Jan 2012, 22:52, Reply)
I spoke to Stunned earlier
And he kindly invited me up to visit him and Monty.

This will doubtless involve me ending up with a hangover.
