I don't like Skem at all.The area itself is vile, however, drive for 5 minutes in pretty much any direction, and there's somewhere better. The pub at the top of Dalton being one of the best pubs I've ever been to, is a good example of this. Good food, well priced ales, huge beer garden, and during summer, you can cross the car park, and watch cricket being played.
The only thing enjoyable about Skem is the people, and the majority of them are shite.
