I can't argue with that...

What made it worse is that during those months I was wierd and desperately boring. It's true what they say about 'Dutch courage' - well it is in my case.

I tried for a month once and just got more and more grumpy
stopped going out as I hated beeing around booze and not being allowed it.

It definitely gives going out a different edge
I get around that by staying home and rocking slightly in my pants

I put myself under house arrest for the whole time because I didn't want to bore poor folk rigid about my diet progress and teetotalism, as they were the only things I had to talk about.

My friends were good enough to throw me a bash to celebrate my return to impending liver failure though, and I've been smashing it ever since.

I lost around 50lb over that time though.
