Nah, it's not that either.The lack of empathy bit is just one of the symptoms of it. Basically it boils down to him knowing he's OK and being unable to comprehend why others might be worried about him because they haven't heard anything for months. Or something like that.
I gave up trying a few years back, to be honest.

I think the medical term is "cunt".But I'm not completely up to date with trendy modern nomenclature.
